The Sawiris Social Development Foundation is pleased to launch the fourth round of the Yousriya Loza-Sawiris Scholarship Program, which provides full funding to students pursuing an MDP at the University of Minnesota’s Hubert H. Humphrey School of Public Affairs in the United States.

Candidates are provided the skills and information they need to manage non-profit initiatives and programs as well as the issues of sustainable development, such as the spread of poverty and population growth, food insecurity, and climate change, through a multidisciplinary curriculum.

  • You need to require prior math, statistics, and economics coursework.

Documents Required:

  • English proficiency is necessary. Valid TOEFL or IELTS exam results must be at least 600 (paper-based), 250 (computer-based), and 100 (Internet-based, minimum of 22 on each component) for the TOEFL or 7 (IELTS) respectively.
  • A valid Graduate Record Exam (GRE) score is a must. No particular mark is necessary.
  • HR letter from the present employer, together with the pay stub or, in the event of unemployment, a bank statement.
  • Two recommendation letters.
  • A duplicate of the ID page from a recent passport.
  • Fresh resume.
  • Transcripts from all grades, including undergraduate and graduate work (if applicable).
  • One private image.
