If they plan to conduct postdoctoral research at The Clark Art Institute USA during the 2024–2025 academic year. provides between eleven and sixteen scholarships each year, varying in length from one to ten months, with the bulk awarded for one academic semester.

National and international scholars, critics, curators, and museum professionals are welcome to propose projects that broaden and enhance the understanding of the visual arts and their role in culture. The Institute combines a public art gallery with a complex array of academic and research initiatives, as well as a sizeable art history library. Clark is an international hub for discussion of the origins and nature of art.

Benefits of The Clark Art Institute Fellowship 2024, USA (Fully Funded):

  • Depending on financial need and earnings, The Clark Art Institute Fellowships are given out up to a maximum of $30,000 per semester. The Internal Revenue Service’s tax laws will be taken into account for determining the Fellows’ tax liabilities to the United States government on a case-by-case basis. The scholar and any accompanying family members will be compensated for their travel to and from Clark.
  • Fellows are normally provided with an apartment in a recently refurbished and expanded late nineteenth-century house across the street from the Clark campus. There are six apartments available, with additional communal areas, with sizes ranging from one to two bedrooms. The Clark’s computer network has a fully furnished apartment (connected). The Clark will offer lodging and services, excluding long-distance calls.  Pets are not allowed in the Scholars’ Residence. There is no smoking allowed inside any Clark structures.
  • The Manton Research Center offers fellows a private office that is open from 8 am to 11 pm (early closing hours on weekends). Computers and IT support will be provided upon request.

Eligibility Criteria:
