Scholarships are provided for excellent international students participating in science undergraduate or graduate coursework programs at UQ. Applicants of the Queensland University Scholarships 2024–2025, will receive the following benefits:
- The scholarship is worth $3000.
- Scholarship awardees must fulfill the requirements listed above, as applicable, at the payment date in order for their awards to be paid out.
- UQ will pay the award recipients after the first semester’s academic census date.
- Payment will be made by UQ to each recipient’s specified Australian bank account.

Eligibility Requirements:
Applicants must follow the following requirements to avail of the opportunity of the Queensland University Scholarships 2024–2025:

- Eligible Countries: Every nation on Earth
- Ability to qualify for international student status in Australia.
- Deliver all required paperwork by the scholarship deadline in order to fulfill the requirements of a UQ offer for an authorized program.
- As part of your application for the UQ program, demonstrate a solid academic record.
- Acceptance into a UQ Faculty of Science program that must last more than a year (full-time).
- First-time enrollment at UQ for the current semester.
- You cannot apply for these scholarships if you have a current enrollment at UQ and want to switch programs.
- Students engaged in study abroad, exchange, or non-award programs are ineligible.
- Each scholarship winner needs to provide:
• Start your studies during the semester that is specified in the UQ offer letter.
•Make every effort to successfully complete the study program.
• Give permission for UQ to publicize their name, photo, the name of their degree program, and the fact that they won a scholarship.
• Send a proposal along with a publishable photo.

- Obtain an offer and a UQ student ID number.
