Some ethical principles:

1. Do not call a person more than twice in a row. If they don’t pick your call, it means they are busy with some other important work.

2. Pay the borrowed money from someone before reminding them. Be it 1 rupee or 1 crore it shows the maturity of your character.

3. Don’t order an expensive dish on the menu at someone’s invitation. If possible, ask them to order food of their choice for you.

4. Don’t ask random questions like ‘Oh so you’re not married yet’ or ‘You don’t have kids’ or ‘Why haven’t you bought a house?’ For God it is not your problem.

6. If you take a taxi with a friend, and he pays the fare, you pay the next time or share the fare!

7. Respect different political views.

8. Don’t interrupt people but give them a chance to finish their talk.

. 9. If you are teasing someone, and they are not enjoying it, stop and never do it again.

10. When someone helps you, you must thank him.

11. If you want to praise someone, do it in front of people and criticize in private.

12. There is no point in commenting on someone’s weight. Just say, “You look good” if they want to talk about losing weight, so do you.

13. When someone shows you a picture on their phone, don’t swipe left or right. You have no idea what lies ahead.

14. If someone tells you they have to go to the doctor, don’t ask why. Just pray for good health. If they want to talk about it, so do you.

15. Treat your office boy and janitor with the same respect as you treat a CEO. Your behavior towards people of lower status than you is a reflection of your character.

16. If someone is talking directly to you, don’t constantly look at your mobile phone.

17. Do not give advice unless you are asked.

18. If you are meeting someone after a long time, don’t ask them age and salary unless they want to talk about it themselves.
